Would you like to work in a luxurious hair salon with a team of professionals in a fun and friendly environment. If so, Glamorous is a great place for you. We are located at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Our team consists of professionals with over 20 years of experience in hair industry. Job Responsibilities:

  •  Provide knowledgeable consultation to clients to determine the best hairstyle/color
  •  Completes haircutting techniques, including trims, layers, and texturizing.
  •  Performs haircoloring methods, such as highlights, ombre, and balayage.
  • Perform chemical treatments such as keratin, split ends treatment etc.
  • Styles hair, including blowouts, curls, braids, ponytails, and updos.
  • Applying hair extensions such as tape in, bonds, wefts
  • Creating hairstyles for brides and bridesmaids 
  • Upsells clients on products and services.
  • Develops ongoing relationships with clients.
  • Keeps a clean station and sanitizes all tools.
  • Follows all salon policies and procedures.

Applicants should possess (as a minimum):

  • At least 5 years’ current experience as a stylist
  • Relevant qualification/ certification in hairstyling and beauty with recent demonstrated commitment to maintaining current professional development
  • Must have a strong knowledge of latest trends and treatments including keratin and hair extensions
  •  Previous experience in creating formal hairstyles for special events, weddings.
  • Ability to work independently with no supervision 
  •  Ability to work quickly and accurately in time-pressured conditions
  • Must be an independent worker with exceptional people skills and a calm, happy personality.
  • Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as this is a common requirement for the position.
